It was a chilling yet quiet night, perfectly suited for the vampires to be out from thier little hideouts instead of lurking in the shadows during the daylight. At night was when they could rule the world freely without to much inconvenience to interfere them. Aha, perhaps that was not all true but it was easier to get ride of that said inconvenience anyhow. One of the many vampires who happend to be out tonight searching for thier latest kill just happend to be no one else then Vanitas Kyuuketsuki himself. A vampire coming from a powerful blood line with only the purest of the blood running through his very veins. A long lasting vampire who had been living for centuries with so many secrets surrending his life which made his life to a complete mystery to others. At one point he had even reign and controled worlds previous to this one he was in now. Playing with lives like his puppets to entertain him in his games all to fit his own very taste. But that all was in the past, at least for the moment since Vanitas had for a while now lived a more of a....peaceful life and not only was that because of the misfortune to have lost all the powers he once had killed others for to possess but apperantly there was somebody else in his life Vanitas had left all of that behind for....or had he?.

The past after all always had one or another way to catch up in the end after all. The current life never lasting without getting reminded of past sins. It always catch up to you in the end and Vanitas couldn't possible be immune towards this despite his reputation. It would have been absurbed if so had been the case.

During that night Vanitas had found himself in a much unfortunate situation after having attacked a random human he had hunted down in the forest in hope for a much undisturbed meal. However as it turned out to be right after having finished feeding on the human with full intention to let them live like he pretended to be doing so for 'redemption' or whatever, his peaceful hunt would drastic change to become a much more bizarre and inconvenience night for the pureblood as a old face decided to make thier apperance in front of them.

Vanitas would bite back down on his lip as he got thrown across the ground until his back got slammed right into a tree. Blood dript down from the vampire's bruised lip, but that was not the only thing that had got bruised and scratched during this fight. Vanitas had been fighting against this annoying little pest to the best of his ability but without his powers felt like he had picked the short straw in this one, or well making fighting alot more bothersome then it necessery needed to be otherwise. Vanitas would lift his head up to glance over at his attacker with a smug face, lips curled up to what come across as sly and mocking but inside he only felt bitterness wishing for nothing more then for this to be over with so he could return back home before the sun rised again to pay Regis a visit. They had promised to drink tea together after all something he had looked forward to until this little annoying pest had decided to get inbetween his plans.

" Are your memory still running short, Liam?. " The witch would ask with much distaste upon her tounge as she keept Vanitas up there all pinned against the tree with some vines that had wrapped itself around his body to keep him there. " Apperantly yes, or perhaps i see no reason to remember worthless vermins such like yourself dearest. So my pardon for not wasting my memory on your unattractive face." Vanitas would reply with a smug smile but was truthful for once. He couldn't really remember to ever having meet this witch before but at the same time he had run into many witches in the past and not many was special fond of him. His answer displeased the witch greatly to the point of tightening the grip around his body with the vines which made him groan a bit underneath this much displeased grip but he keept on sticking with that much mocking smile though because aha, it was far to amusing to resist to?.

" You might not remember Liam but i do. I will never forget what you did, and what you took from me. I have searched and chased you down for this very moment to make you pay for it. " The witch would snarl as she come closer to the vampire only to stare him right in one of his mismatched eyes; the blue one. Vanitas would solely watch her and rosed a eyebrow when she reached up to touch his face but only briefly so before she pulled away again to take a step back. " You think you can manipulate anyone whoever you like. Deceiving people with your face and charm without caring for the lives you ruin and shatteres once you break thier hopes and dreams. But it's time for that to change. I will make sure that everyone finally gets to see the monster you truly are." The witch would finish with a grim smirk which hold no effect on the vampire aside from rolling his eyes at her. Vanitas had been working on a way to get himself free from this vines not exactly needing his lost powers for that, after all he was a vampire and those abilities had not gone and abandoned him something the pureblood was grateful for now in this moment of need. He had manged to lose one of his hands with the katana sword still being hold in his grip and without letting this opportunity be wasted swung the blade up to cut the vines that was holding his waist and other arm, cutting it effectively thanks to the special sword he possessed that was out from the ordinary.

The witch would snarl back at this and was about to take a step back while focusing on to trap him with more vines but that she was unable to finish with before Vanitas had losen himself so much so that he could use his free hand to rip of the left remaining vines that hold him down so he would fall back to the ground and the second his feets landed on the ground he would kick off to run straight towards the witch with speed as he used the katana to slash her right across the chest. A loud cry would come from the women before she used her magic to disappear away from his view. Vanitas stood tall once more as he started to glance around after the witch knowing she used wind magic this time to disappear along with the wind. That meant she was a witch who could control the elements then?. " Come on now, witch don't be a such clingy pest. i don't have time for this. Just show your face already so i can finish you of. I'm already late..." Vanitas would complain not founding this situation amusing at all. As he stood there waiting would listen closely to every movement until the witch finally went to attack. He catch the sound of her movement which come to his left side. Graping a tighter hold of the sword Vanitas would swing it around again this time cutting through the women's arm but her attack contunie on forward as the witch grapt after Vanitas throat. His eyes widen as he felt himself fall backwards, hitting the back of his head as he fall roughly towards the ground. With a groan leaving his mouth had momently closed his eyes before opening them again and of course with the witch all over him.

" Oh my... you cannot simple take a no, can ya?. I think you take the prize of being one of the most clingiest people i have ever meet...you even beat some of my exes." Vanitas would point out mostly to mock but also because he had a theory and...the way the witch reacted made him start to think he might be correct with his suspection. Not like he had much time to think about that though. " Oh, just shut it!." The witch would mutter, frowning at him. " What a foul mouth you have there lady, perhaps you should wash that mouth of yours?. " he would hum, giving her an amused smirk. That seemed to have hit the final straw for the feminine witch as she grapt a tighter hold of his throat to start to choke him. Vanitas would just smirk before he quickly grapt the wrist of the hand which was choking him before he would spin the witch around so she laid on the ground now all pinned underneath him and brought his katana up to push the sharp blade against her throat. " Sorry witch but as much fun this has been i really need to get on going, someone is waiting for me i'm sure you will understand. I guess this means game over, huh?, for you anyway." Vanitas would finish with a devil looking smirk before he made himself ready to cut of this witch head because that should do it to finish her of for eternity. But as he was about to land the final blow he suddenly felt pain strike down at one of his legs. Side glancing down he saw the witch had cut him with a dagger but that was not all...

Suddenly he didn't felt special well. His vision started to blurry and the strenght leaving his body.." Bloody....he- " He didn't finish that sentence before he collapsed right on top of the witch as he passed out.

Next time he woke up was still on the same spot like before but not everything was the same. It took sometime for the dizziness to leave his mind and for his vision to get more clear again but as he slowly woke up from whatever poison that witch had used on him started to pay attention to his surrendings. First he saw the witch a bit away mumbling some words he not really understood. Secondly he noticed he was being put in some sort of a circle which was painted out in some red liquer...ahhh, it was blood?. Vanitas slowly sat up while placing a hand over his forehead still feeling rather weak. What on the seven sins was she planning to do with him?. Thinking this through seemed like a such bothersome mess for him right now. I swear to Lucifer that i'm going to kill you. He thought as he slowly tried to get back up on his unsteady legs but the moment he got up felt a sudden pain strike down inside of his body. It made his eyes widen up as he choked on the pain before he fall back down on his knees again. What the hell?!. Grimacing felt how his stomach knot itself up. It was a sickening feeling that got send through his whole body. But just as he thought the pain had faded again felt an other wave of pain swimming over him only this time much more intense. It made him hold back a snarl as he leaned forward a bit while wrapping his arms around himself as he felt like every single bone inside of his body got cracked open and twisted around in there. It was an quite unpleasant and unberable pain and the vampire started to shake before a painful groan left his mouth. Unwrapping the arms around himself would place both hands down on the ground in front of him as he contunie to grimace in pain while doing his best to keep himself back from screaming in agony. " W-What are...you...d-doing towards me...w-witch!!." he manged out through gritted teeths and glared up at her and saw now a barrier was put up between her and him which surrended the whole circle. Wait...was this some sort of ritual she was doing?. The witch smirked at him as she contunie on to speak a language he just couldn't understand. Oh Lucifer in hell...

An other wave of pain got send through his body as this unpleasant feeling like his bones got crushed inside of him send the vampire over the edge as he let out a cry in agony while digging his nails into the dirt. Vanitas did not notice it himself as his body started to change, his body growing and ripping apart some of his clothes in the process during this....transformation. He suddenly felt an intense pain at the side of his head as something grow out from there and literally thought he was being crushed into pieces when something grow out from his back to break itself free while blood splattered out on the ground. During this whole time Vanitas did his best to hold back his agony pain inside but now and then suffocated pains did leave his mouth. Once the transformation was over Vanitas was left panting and breathing heavily through the pain before he collapsed on the ground, his whole body skaking through the pain. His eyes started to close as he looked after the witch who soon disappeared and the last thing he saw before passing out was the barrier that got removed.

Who knows for how long he was out but it was not beaming light of the sun that started to shine down on the vampire's face that Vanitas finally opend his eyes again. He would groan lowly to himself as he felt how sore his whole body was, the previous night being all but a blur to him. With a shaky breath he after quite sometime after just laying there on the ground to rest and to collect his thoughts a bit would force himself up slowly until he stood back up but the moment he took a step would fall forward but luckily catch himself by falling into a tree. Ouch. That hurt like hell. Gritting his teeths the vampire would stumble himself forward while leaning on every single tree he passed on by for support before pushing himself forward again only having one thing on mind right now and that was to found
Regis.

//No worries, thanks for making! Sorry for the delayed reply, was meaning to respond sooner.

Regis drew in a deep lungful of air through his nose as he took note of the flower's unique aroma. Marigold. It was something that he needed more stock of anyway so he opted to pick a small bundle to take back with him to the graveyard where he resided. Call it cliché, but it held a charm to it. It was peaceful for a start, and generally folks steered clear from nosing about in the affairs of others. It also pitched him at a decent distance from the local towns, near enough to conduct trade but far enough away to help maintain his privacy.

After stowing the flowers in his woven basket he then continued his walk through the ancient woods where he passed gnarled trees that were beginning to buckle under the weight of their own age. Already a few had fallen and now laid like rotting corpses in the lush undergrowth. But where death existed so came life, and young saplings were already beginning to emerge from the ruins of the former forest giants. With ease Regis vaulted over one of the fallen husks that was blocking his path and he continued on his merry way.

After collecting several types of mushrooms and a few more wild herb varieties the higher vampire made his way back to this abode. A wash of relief crept over him as his home came into view and he was swift to bundle himself inside. The corridor descended down into the crypt that he had taken over and turned into his personal nest. It wasn't like the dead were present to verbally complain about his presence, and he had ensured to treat the bones of the dead humans with respect. He deposited the basket by his workbench before he began the tedious process of lighting the various candles around the place to help bathe his home in illumination. Once that chore was completed he then turned his focus to that of his teapot. After refilling it with fresh spring water he then set it over the smouldering coals in the fireplace to boil.

"Now then, what tea shall I have today?" Regis murmured as he let his fingers dance over the various containers that held a multitude of blends. Eventually he settled on a blackberry and apple tea mix. Yes, that would do him just nicely. After he prepared his cup and set the container back in place there was the sound of feathered wings beating through the air towards the wooden perch by the central table. The vampire turned and approached the raven that had come to visit him, and much to his surprise it carried with it news. Regis grew tense and he felt his teeth beginning to tingle with unease as he moved to head outside his dwelling.

He slipped up onto the grass covered roof to give him a better vantage point as he searched the surrounding graveyard and wood for any sign of what the ravens had whispered about. Something was out there and heading his way. Threat or not, he wanted to ensure that he had the upper hand in this encounter. He might be a strong entity but he was no longer in his prime and he was still healing from severe injuries dealt a few years ago. Usually he relied on his scent being enough to drive potential dangers away, and it worked... til now.

Everything hurt. Every single step he took, every muscle he moved, every breath he brought into his lugns...it hurt. Vanitas was in a such intense and unpleasant pain and he couldn't quite remember last time he had felt this sort of unbearable pain. It made him feel so sick... As he clumpsy took himself from yet another tree to the next felt how his stomach protested against him. Just as Vanitas had grapt a hold of the tree his head fore forward as he poked up everything he had eat the day before which only was blood, human blood he had consumed. As he poked would sink his now very sharp and long claws into the tree to scratch and leave deep claw marks into it. Once he was done with what he thought was a shameful behavior would pant in and out, feeling like he had run miles and far beyond the limits his body could handle. Apart of him just wanted to give up to listen to his body pleadings to not do this towards himself right now. But he wouldn't listen to his body or his own mind because he needed to found Regis. Why founding the other vampire was so importand for him right now could have many explanations but the main one was that he knew how much in a vunerable state he was in right now and if the wrong person found him.... Regis was the only one he could trust in a situation like this one, whatever had happend to him that was, Vanitas still quite clueless to the monstrous beast that witch had turned him into.

After having caught his breath the vampire would grit his teeths as he pushed himself away from the tree to drag his feets forward again as he felt like he was walking on very sharp glass pieces. It was more painful then he even could describe with words but convinced himself he had been through far worse then this sort of pain and survived. Clinging to that was far better then thinking about the pain right now. After what had felt like a mile long walk he finally reached the graveyard he had visited so many times by now...

He would stop for a moment as he took shelter from the shadows of the trees and looked towards the graveyard ahead of himself through his blue and red orbs, letting himself catch his breath again after that much painful walk he just had been forced to endure and somehow manged to get himself through. He more or less clinged to the tree he was digging his sharp long claws into, and his legs was shaking so. Only a little further and this hellish walk would end. Vanitas would groan lowly as he pushed himself forward again, his shape now becoming vinsible as he left the protection from the trees shadows to reveal himself in the open. With each step he took he panted more then the one before, and blood was dripping down from his mouth after having vomited before, and the only comfort he found right now in his world full of pain and suffering was that lovely scent he breathed in through his nose that smelt of blackberries and apple. Tea...Regis was brewing tea...How wonderful...he would love to have some right now.

Vanitas reached the graveyards doors and pushed them open as he stumbled himself inside, his vision becoming more blurred and he could no longer focus his gaze anywhere and the ravens that was flying over his head, alarming about his present sounded like painful screams into his ears, even thier flapping wings was like sharp blades that cut right into his hearings. His whole world started to spin which made the beast growl in frustration and he crashed into one of the graves (one of the bigger ones ) failing to see it because of his ears ringing so. It made him trip and fall down to his knees, something that hurt him greatly since his bones where so fragile and sour right now. Just a gentle touch would hurt him right now. Vanitas growled again this time louder then from before. " SHUT UP!." he suddenly snarled, before he put his hands over his ears, trying to block all of the sounds out. He just wanted it to stop. What sort of a nightmare was this even?!. He did not felt very good right now... But then he smelt something, a familliar scent. It made him lift up his head again this time looking towards the crypt and believed himself seeing a form up there, a blurried one. But he believed himself knowing who it was. Finally. " Re...gi...s.." Vanitas tried to stand again, to lift himself up on his shaking legs and he would stumble himself forward as he came to reach a hand out towards them as he tried to get himself there. " Re-gis " he tried to call out again, his voice hoarse and weak. So tired...He was so very tired.

And even now he was unaware of the monster he had turned into. This hellish looking canine-like creature with devil like wings who was taller then any human out there, and he was walking right towards them with eyes wide open and intensively staring at them. Who knew how Regis would react to that sort of sight.
